One of Pauser's key features is its ability to take tracks from the Music.app. You can load tracks from your PC's iTunes to Music, and they will become readily available in Pauser.

The software allows for seamless track selection into a List. You can easily choose tracks from playlists, the library, by artist, or through library search. Furthermore, you can adjust track positions within the List on-the-fly by simple drag-and-drop actions even during a performance. Pauser also enables users to save their custom lists and load them whenever needed.

With convenient play functions like auto pause, Pauser ensures a smooth transition between tracks. By using the fade-out feature, the volume of the active track slowly diminishes towards the end. Users can adjust the fading effect timing directly in the settings.

In addition to fade-out, Pauser offers a crossfade feature where tracks smoothly blend into each other by gradually adjusting volume levels. The time of the crossfade effect can be customized in the settings to suit individual preferences.

For added flexibility, users can utilize pitch and speed correction for each song to optimize performance based on their voice scale. These settings are automatically saved in playlist information.

The software also supports song lyrics display. Users can assign lyrics to each track in iTunes; it's a straightforward process: right-click on the track in iTunes on your PC, select "Lyrics" from the pop-up menu, and enter the desired text. Upon synchronization with iTunes and iPad, lyrics added to the track file will be visible in Pauser by clicking on the Lyrics button. Users can adjust the font size in the settings as needed.

Pauser includes AirPlay functionality that enables music playback on all devices supporting Wi-Fi technology, offering musicians a wireless source for music and lyrics during performances.

Users can choose between two color schemes—white font on a black background or vice versa—to enhance text readability based on their preference.
